FaraoneCasa d’Aste has decided to offer a new format of online timed auction where the bidder will start the auction.
FaraoneCasa d’Aste puts up for auction some “special deals” lots with a minimum reserve below which no bids can be made.
The first bidder opens the auction by reserving the desired lot. From then on, the auction will last for 24 hours during which anyone interested in the same lot can place a higher bid. At the end of 24 hours the lot will be awarded to the highest bidder.
To confirm the bid, each bidder must pay a deposit of 10% of the value of the property, which will be retained as a deposit for the successful bidder and will be returned to all other unsuccessful bidders.
The successful bidder, after receiving confirmation of the award from Faraone Casa d’Aste, will have 7 days to pay the balance, after which, if there is no outcome to the balance, the deposit will be retained by Faraone as reimbursement of expenses for the halt in the sale.
All bidders, upon appointment, may view the lots at the headquarters of Faraone Casa d’Aste in Via Montenapoleone 9, Milan.
After the awarding of a lot, the successful bidder will receive by email the necessary information for the balance of their purchases and how to pick up the lots at the headquarters in Via Montenapoleone 9 in Milan. Upon request and at the expense of the successful bidder, Faraone Casa d’Aste can arrange home delivery by specialized courier.
The balance of the lots can be paid by bank transfer, bank draft, credit card and in cash up to the limit allowed by the current regulations.
The commissions on the sale are the same as in the auctions room (20% plus VAT).
